Login Codes (OTP)

We are excited to share that login codes are now available as an alternative to magic links! Login codes use 6-digit one-time passcodes which are typed (or autofilled!) to authenticate a user in a secure and reliable way. To get started, go to the Passage Console and change your app’s fallback method from magic links to login codes. Login codes are available as a fallback method in the Passage Elements version 1.2.3.

Supabase integration guide

We have published a new guide on how to integrate Passage with Supabase. Supabase is a popular open-source platform that allows developers to quickly create scalable and secure apps. The guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to add passkey-based authentication to Supabase apps, and we can’t wait to see what you build!

Improved passkey support

We frequently conduct user research to optimize passkey experiences, and we’ve released improvements to the Passage Element to improve login experiences. You will now see more passkey specific language and iconography in the user registration and login flows. Install @passageidentity/passage-elements version 1.2.3 or greater to get these changes.
